Founder & President

James is a results-oriented, seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience in Education Management, Nonprofit Management, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Operations, Small Business Consulting and Grants Management. He has served as CEO, COO and CFO for several nonprofit and educational entities.  His education includes a Bachelors in Accounting from Pittsburg State University and an MBA from the University of New Orleans.

Prior to starting Spottswood Education Management Agency (SEMA), James was one of the longest-tenured C-Suite chiefs in the New Orleans Area Charter School sector.
